I'm often asked how I turned my background as a #magician into a #career in #tech. It's a long story. So, I wrote a book about it!
In For My Next Trick you'll find stories about my early magic career, the #NYC #magic scene in the early 2010s, and managing Tannen's Magic, the oldest magic shop in the #USA. Then I delve into my time at #MBA school and how UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School set me up for a life-changing career switch (with some fun along the way). Finally, we end at Amazon. Writing and publishing this book was a journey. I started it in 2021 and chipped away at it week after week until I had the semblance of a first draft. Then came the process of learning how to edit and refine a book - a very different process than editing a #PRFAQ.
